Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has already been heating up the
franchise in ways fans didn't expect, but with Season 1
officially dropping on December 4, Treyarch is showing
that they are absolutely cooking. The full roadmap is
here, and it's loaded-new maps, fan-favorite remasters,
classic party modes, a massive Zombies update, a brand-
new Resurgence map in Warzone, and a weapon lineup that
brings back several beloved guns, including what is
basically the Ballista from Black Ops 2.

A Map-Packed Season: New Arenas, Fan Favorites, and

Season 1 launches with one of the most map-heavy updates

New 6v6 Maps
• Fate (Small Map)
Pulled straight from the Black Ops 7 campaign, Fate is

itch. Treyarch confirmed it works in both 6v6 and 2v2,
which should make it a staple in smaller playlists.
• Utopia (Medium Map)
Utopia is a brand-new, visually striking 6v6 map that
immediately drew comparisons to Vertigo from BO2 because
of its futuristic design and neon-infused palette. Based
on the tac-map preview, it looks like a three-lane
layout-classic Treyarch philosophy-which typically
results in smooth flow, consistent spawns, and
competitive gameplay.
• Odyssey (2v2)
A compact map built for Gunfight-style modes. Tight,
symmetrical, and fast-everything a 2v2 arena should be.
Returning Fan Favorites
This is where nostalgia hits hard.
• Standoff (BO2)
One of the most beloved Treyarch maps of all time is
back. Competitive players and casuals alike know this map
by heart, and its return alone is reason to celebrate
Season 1.
• Meltdown (BO2)
A long-requested but rarely remastered map, Meltdown
makes a surprising comeback. Its balance of long
sightlines and close interior engagements will play
beautifully with Black Ops 7's movement.
• Fringe (BO3)
Fringe, which also returned in Black Ops 6, is making its
way into BO7 mid-season. With BO7's enhanced movement and

A classic crossbow variant returning for fans of high-
skill weapons.
• Hawker HX (Sniper Rifle)
This is the big one. The Hawker HX is confirmed to be a
spiritual successor to the Ballista from Black Ops 2.

potential but more recoil and slower rechambering. The
